Opolskie Hospitable II – Supporting the social integration of third-country nationals

The Opole Provincial Labour Office has received funding for the implementation of a project entitled ‘Opolskie Hospitable II – Supporting the social integration of third-country nationals’. In accordance with the project’s objectives, support is planned for 500 non-EU nationals legally residing in Poland who live, study or work in the Opole Province.

The project implementation period is 1 April 2026 – 31 March 2029.

The goal of the project is the socio-economic integration of 500 foreign nationals in the Opole Province through, amongst other things: acquiring or improving their knowledge of the Polish language, enhancing their professional skills, facilitating access to employment, and strengthening their integration into the local community. The project also aims to raise awareness of intercultural integration and to promote openness and tolerance.

The range of services dedicated to foreign nationals includes, among others, free courses in Polish as a foreign language, including industry-specific Polish, adaptation courses, legal support, psychological support, career guidance, professional training and job placement. The project also envisages the organisation of cultural events aimed at integration, which will strengthen the process of integrating foreigners into the host society, i.e. the region’s residents.

Under the project, 250 people are expected to gain qualifications/skills, whilst 20 people are expected to find employment.
